Senior Cocos Creator Developer We are looking for a Senior Cocos Creator Developer to build high-performance HTML L5 playable ads used in user acquisition campaigns.
This role sits at the intersection of game development, web performance, and marketing, and focuses on delivering lightweight, fast-loading interactive experiences that convert.
What will you be doing at Miniclip?
Build interactive playable ads using Cocos Creator (TypeScript).
Optimize playables for file size, load time, memory usage, and FPS across mobilewebviews.
Integrate tracking events (e.G. start, first interaction, completion, CTA click).
Implement and customize endcards, tutorials, and CTA flows.
Integrate with ad network SDK templates and wrappers.
Debug and resolve network-and device-specific webview issues (iOS / Android).
Collaborate with UA managers and designers on rapid iteration and A/B testing.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience shipping HTML5 playable ads (not just web games).
Hands-on experience with Cocos Creator (scenes, prefabs, animations, build pipeline).
Solid understanding of mobile web performance optimization.
Experience working within typical playable constraints: Strict zip size limits Fast first-frame rendering Limited or no external network requests Familiarity with clickthrough handling, CTA behavior, and basic ad tracking.
Comfortable debugging using Chrome DevTools and Safari Web Inspector.
Nice to have Experience with other HTML5 engines (PlayCanvas, PixiJS, Phaser, Three.Js).
Experience with ad networks such as Adikteev, AppLovin, Facebook, Google, InMobi, ironSource, Liftoff, Mintegral, Moloco, Pangle / TikTok or Snapchat.
Experience with Unity and Luna Labs - Unity Playworks.
Understanding of UA metrics and conversion funnels.
