Compliance Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team within the Compliance Excellence function. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence by managing communications, organizing leadership forums, and facilitating smooth information flow.
This role is critical to the effective coordination and operation of our Global Risk & Compliance Node Network—a vital part of our risk management strategy that connects Senior Leaders across regions and practice areas to deliver timely, tailored compliance oversight.
Responsibilities:
* Network Management: Plan, organize and execute monthly meetings and ad hoc roundtables with BCG's Risk and Compliance MDP network (i.e., scheduling global calls, preparing meeting agenda and materials, coordinating room bookings and tracking meeting follow-ups).
* Compliance Program and Operating Model: Oversee governance and operational tasks, including maintaining structure charts, shared drives, and SharePoint sites. Analyze compliance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling data-driven decision-making across the function.
* Special Projects and Global Compliance Campaigns: Contribute to large-scale compliance campaigns and special projects led by Compliance Excellence, including coordinating project execution from initiation to completion.

Requirements:
* An academic degree in law, business administration, finance, or a related field is essential.
* Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) are highly desirable.
* Minimum 4 years relevant experience in compliance/ or other risk management discipline such as audit, fraud examination, quality control, risk analysis within a financial/ banking institution, professional services or consulting firm.
