For our Controlling division at our location in Arouca, we are seeking a Head of FP&A Operations (m/w/d).
Your Shoes To Fill
* You will drive compliance, transparency, and profitability at our production plant in Portugal near Porto (Arouca) by partnering with the local organization and serving as the link to the Group Finance Function.
* You will act as the Business Partner to the local Managing Director and the Plant Leadership team.
* You will prepare budgets and forecasts for management.
* You will generate regular reports on cost and performance indicators (e.g., target/actual analyses and productivity), provide commentary, and derive recommendations for action.
* You will prepare and present analyses, reports, and business cases for all management levels, including ad-hoc analyses.
* You will support investment projects by reviewing, approving, and recalculating profitability calculations.
* You will develop and coach finance employees at the site.
Your Walk Of Life
* You have completed studies in business administration (or equivalent) or industrial engineering, ideally with a focus on controlling.
* You possess over 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in plant controlling, including standard costing variance knowledge and experience.
* You have worked in a larger production plant, ideally within an international company.
* You have a deep understanding of financial modeling techniques and relevant KPIs.
* You have excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, along with good SAP knowledge (modules: FI/CO/MM). Experience with standard cost setups (preferably SAP COPA) and SAP S/4HANA is desirable.
* You have a solution-oriented and analytical personality, with a hands-on mentality, and are extroverted with strong communication skills to connect and present to different organizational levels.
* You are fluent in English and Portuguese.
