Overview
We are looking for a "Cyber OT Engineer" who will offer service to a pharmaceutical company.
SKILLS
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation Engineering.
* 4-6 years of experience or a Master's degree with 3-5 years of experience in system and/or network administration and project management with an international focus.
* Specialized knowledge (MUST):
o Firewall configuration, network segmentation, antivirus protection, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
o Solid knowledge of OT infrastructure levels (0-3), such as PLC, IKP, and SCADA, and the protocols used (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, OPC, and OPC UA).
o Modern logistics concepts and IT knowledge, specifically WMS systems and SAP ERP.
o The ability to grasp complex problems, analyze them methodically, and translate them into solutions is necessary.
o English Fluent.
* Specialized knowledge (PLUS):
o Knowledge of conducting penetration tests in a production environment.
o Security-related certifications, such as CISSP.
TASKS
Cybersecurity Strategy & Implementation
* Implements the defined IT cybersecurity strategy in collaboration with the Cybersecurity Architect and other business and service functions.
* Supports the further development of the cybersecurity strategy and related processes, and coordinates them with relevant stakeholders.
* Works closely with global and local security teams to implement global strategies in specific local OT systems.
* Conducts risk analyses for production systems and implements measures to identify and fix potential security vulnerabilities.
* Performs technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation for new IT and OT systems.
Compliance & Audits
* Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal Roche guidelines for occupational safety, quality assurance, environmental protection, and cybersecurity (20% of the role).
* Represents the department in audits, coordinates the handling of findings, and assesses security-relevant exceptions.
System Maintenance & Optimization
* Monitors and analyzes system logs to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
* Develops strategies for responding to and recovering from security incidents in the OT environment.
* Provides technical support during the incident-response process, including minimizing impact and conducting forensic investigations.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
* Plans the budget for technical services and monitors performance.
* Analyzes system efficiency to identify and utilize potential savings.
* Checks and ensures that commissioned companies have the necessary technical qualifications and that service descriptions for upcoming orders are complete (10% of the role).
* Ensures the continuous development of technical knowledge through further training and market research.
SCHEDULE
* 08/09h - 17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible).
* 100% remote working.
