Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Finance department, you will be responsible for driving business value through strategic decision-making and innovative solutions.
About the Role:
* Gather and document business requirements from finance teams, ensuring that needs are clearly articulated and feasible.
* Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories, leveraging your analytical skills to optimize processes.
* Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement, developing actionable recommendations for automation or optimization opportunities.
Project Lifecycle:
* Support end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements to go-live, ensuring seamless coordination with IT, finance, and cross-functional teams.
* Coordinate change management activities, including training, UAT, and documentation, to ensure successful implementation.
* Assist in data analysis, financial reporting, and system testing to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
Key Requirements:
* Solid understanding of financial processes (General Ledger, AP/AR, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Reporting).
* Experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.
* Knowledge of financial applications/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Finance, Banking, or Financial Services.
