Position Summary
A talented individual with excellent communication skills is required to provide support to patients and clinics involved in clinical research trials.
* This role involves reviewing and approving travel and expense reimbursement requests,
* partnering with vendors, and answering questions in a timely and courteous manner.
Schedule Information:
This is a remote position for the following shift:
* Wednesday – Sunday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (GMT/GMT +1)
Hours: 9-hour shift (including 1-hour lunch for a total of 8-hour shift)
Some holiday work will be required, but will be compensated.
Key Responsibilities
* Primary point of contact for patients, study sites, vendors, and other related parties
* Scheduling travel and logistics requests for patients enrolled in clinical trials
* Arranging flights, hotel, ground transportation, and special needs assistance
* Interaction and management of vendors handling travel requests
* Reviewing travel requests against study parameters and seeking approvals where necessary
* Processing expense reimbursements to patients for approved expenses
* Training study site personnel on how to use the online portal
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, the life sciences industry, fluency in multiple languages, strong computer skills, ability to modify and create Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and financial information.
They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organization, time management, flexibility, and a high level of coachability and growth mindset.
