CIS Infrastructure Manager (relocation to Belgium)

We are looking for a CIS Infrastructure Manager who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.
* Candidate must currently reside in the EU.
* Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory.
* Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU Clearance after accepting the job offer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage deployable CIS infrastructure to ensure readiness and service delivery aligned with SLAs.
* Collaborate with service lines and support centers to ensure effective coordination (e.g., CSSC, FSP).
* Oversee configuration management and maintain asset integrity across the infrastructure.
* Conduct risk assessments and, if necessary, initiate NSIP projects for remediation.
* Develop and manage change management plans to uplift and align configuration baselines.
* Support the preparation of the annual Operations & Maintenance (O&M) budget.
* Contribute to system documentation focused on operations, training, and maintenance needs.
* Supervise and manage contractor resources, ensuring effective service acceptance.
* Provide input for SLA reports and assist in SLA change management activities.
* Assess manpower, system upgrades, and resource needs for O&M.
* Actively support project lifecycle activities from initial development through service transition.
* Deputize for higher-level staff when necessary.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
* Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field + 3 years of post-related experience.
* Alternative: No degree but at least 10 years of progressive, relevant experience.
Certifications & Skills:
* ITIL Foundation certification with Intermediate certifications (e.g., PPO, RCV, OSA, SOA, CSI).
* Extensive experience in IT service engineering, planning, operations, and maintenance.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage teams effectively.
* Expertise in Configuration and Change Management practices.
* Strong skills in business management, including budgeting and contingency planning.
* Experience managing small-scale CIS-related projects.
* Exceptional report writing and presentation skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
* ITIL Expert / Managing Professional certifications.
* PRINCE2 Foundation / PMI PMP certifications.
* MSP or Management of Risk (MoR) certifications.
* Familiarity with military telecom systems (e.g., VLF to Satellite EHF).
* Working knowledge of NATO operations and frameworks (e.g., ACO, ACT).
* Membership in relevant professional institutions.
* Experience working within international and military-civilian operational environments.
