The Central Material Planner/Traffic Scheduler is accountable for:
1. Daily execution of the procurement process related to serial materials supply in his/her own portfolio.
2. Respecting the production schedule, minimum stock levels of the customer plants, and according to Service Levels Agreements (SLA) and agreed Operational Cost (transaction cost).
3. Follow-up the execution of the plans, raise and manage alerts when needed; Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule.
4. Ensuring that platform and plants get the necessary materials and resources to meet production schedule and service delivery goals, and to manage and optimize transport flows. The scope may include inbound and outbound; road, sea and air; standard; Full Truck Load (FTL), Less than Truck Load (LTL) and Shared Flows.
5. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the transport organization in his/her scope.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
1. Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management.
2. First experience in transport operations or material planning appreciated.
3. SAP knowledge and especially MM, PP and TM modules appreciated.
4. Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication.
5. Minimum bi-lingual (English + one other language).
6. Customer orientation / Team spirit / Resiliency / Autonomy / Openness to new ideas.
