Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Strategist to lead our financial operations. This key role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities
* Financial Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulations. Provide financial guidance to senior leaders and prepare budgets for review.
* Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, tuition billing, and cash flow management. Ensure proper internal controls are in place and adhered to.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to develop forecasts and monitor actual performance against budget.
* Risk Management & Procurement: Identify and mitigate financial risks, developing policies to minimize exposure. Lead procurement activities, overseeing supplier contracts to ensure value for money.
* Team Management: Direct reports include finance, procurement, and maintenance teams. Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate financial reporting.
This role is a critical member of our Extended Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Executive Director.
