Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team, contributing to the design and implementation of modern, cloud-based data platforms. You'll play a key role in building data pipelines and integration processes across different environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. This position offers the opportunity to work with Azure and/or GCP technologies, supporting multiple clients in data-driven transformation initiatives. Your mission will include designing and maintaining data architectures for ingestion, storage, transformation, and orchestration, enabling analytics and machine learning applications across the organization.
Must-Have
* Proven experience as a Data Engineer in cloud-based environments
* Strong knowledge of Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake) and/or Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage)
* Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and pipeline development
* Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration tools
* Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and database design (relational and NoSQL)
* Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Beam
* Familiarity with data governance, security, and performance tuning practices
Would Be Great If You Have
* Experience integrating APIs and streaming data sources
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
* Knowledge of Terraform or IaC concepts for infrastructure management
* Experience with real-time data processing and event-driven architectures
* Understanding of data quality frameworks and metadata management
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
