What you will do
We are hiring a SFCC Backend Lead to lead backend development for enterprise-level Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects. You will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, managing complex integrations, and mentoring the backend team.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Architect and implement advanced SFCC backend solutions
6. Develop advanced workflows, services, and integrations
7. Optimize backend scalability and high-traffic performance
8. Implement advanced OCAPI/SCAPI customizations
9. Manage advanced catalog structures and data pipelines
10. Develop caching and resilience strategies
11. Mentor and guide junior backend developers
12. Collaborate with stakeholders on technical requirements

Technical Skills Required:
13. SFCC Script API (dw/* modules) proficiency
14. Cartridge development, controllers, and path management
15. Transactions and data persistence
16. BasketMgr, OrderMgr, PaymentMgr, CustomerMgr, ProductMgr, CategoryMgr
17. Hooks and middleware patterns
18. OCAPI customization and integrations
19. Debugging/logging in Business Manager
20. Configure site preferences, payment/shipping/tax methods, jobs, and services
21. Multi-site and multi-tenant architectures
22. Advanced cartridge inheritance and extension patterns
23. Complex service orchestration & event-driven architecture
24. Advanced catalog management and custom object modeling
25. Data import/export pipeline development
26. Deployment automation and DevOps practices
27. Security and compliance implementation
Experience Level:
28. 5–8 years backend development experience
29. 4+ years SFCC-specific experience
30. Enterprise-level SFCC implementation experience
