YOUR ROLE
1. Lead the maintenance of network solutions to enable effective management of business and technical requirements for all corporate and Data Centre networks.
2. Manage operational vendor relationships, including third party suppliers, for operational effectiveness and enhancement.
3. In charge of the provisioning and maintenance to all areas to ensure appropriate Network solutions and controls in the infrastructure environment.
4. Manage the maintenance of the infrastructure environment with standardized process and automatized tools.
5. Provision and maintain detailed and Low Level Design documentation.
6. Define Network Lab and Test Plan development as well as instrumentation requirements.
7. Ownership and maintenance of network monitoring platform.
8. Excellent troubleshooting skills along with providing support verifying incidents, requests and if escalations are being properly handled.
9. Promote continuous team improvement and growth; Meet commitments and deliverables as related to participating/leading projects.
YOUR PROFILE
1. Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar.
2. Apart from TCP/IP knowledge, good understanding of financial trading industry IT and business.
3. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in similar functions.
4. Solid knowledge and experience in network implementation and operations in either or both: Juniper: JNCIP/JNCIE level on EX, MX, QFX and J series platforms, and/or Cisco: CCNP/CCIE level.
5. Understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure (structured cabling, power distribution, cooling), MPLS VPN design and implementation, use of network probes and monitors and physical transport technologies (i.e. DWDM).
6. Application design and development relating to networks.
7. Detailed knowledge of Firewall technology and how to apply them in a service-oriented enterprise.
8. Security oriented mindset with familiarity of DDoS Solutions, IDS and IPS and with SIEM architecture and usage.
