Job Title: Senior Oracle Database Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in Porto. As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our Oracle SQL database environment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases. They will work closely with the development team to design and implement new applications and maintain current ones.
* Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Oracle databases
* Collaborate with the development team to plan and implement new applications
* Perform research and analysis to resolve database performance issues
* Owning, tracking, and resolving database-related incidents and service requests within SLAs
* Perform auditing, monitoring, capacity management, and security patching of our database
In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
* Expertise in Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c, and/or Oracle 19c
* Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with Oracle RAC and Single Instance
* Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
* Experience with Oracle Dataguard
* MS-SQL, MySQL, Sybase, and/or Hadoop are a plus
* Fluency in English
