We are looking for a Java Software Developer to work in Lisbon
Responsibilities :
* Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java/Backend applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems.
* Delivering high availability and performance.
* Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
* Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
* Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
* Ensuring designs comply with specifications.
* Be an active member of our backend communities.
Requirements :
* 4/5+ years of relevant experience.
* Strong experience in Java – Comfortable working with backend frameworks and microservices.
* Nice to have: Python – Familiarity with Python-based data processing and scripting.
* Experience with containerization (Docker) & Kubernetes – Deploy and manage scalable services efficiently.
* Hands-on with RabbitMQ & Redis – Message queuing and caching experience preferred.
* Strong problem-solving mindset – Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize critical transaction flows.
* Customer-focused & delivery-oriented – Ability to work with clients, prioritize business needs, and meet deadlines.
* Good level of English – Ability to work in an international environment.
