Details - Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.
Due to the company's continuous growth, Details intends to recruit a Sales Manager for Palmares Ocean Living & Golf.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develops and executes the annual sales strategy, in alignment with commercial objectives.
* Identifies and capitalizes on new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, MICE, and specialized golf group markets.
* Analyses KPIs and market trends, implementing corrective actions to optimize revenue.
* Collaborates with Marketing to design targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and digital initiatives.
* Manage relationships with tour operators, DMCs, travel agencies, and other partners.
* Attends major industry trade shows, fam trips, and networking events.
* Negotiates and implements contracts, ensuring compliance with pricing policies and allotments.
* Acts as a brand ambassador for the resort in all interactions.
* Hosts site inspections, fam trips, and VIP guests.
* Ensures all proposals, communications, and contracts reflect 5-star standards.
* Works closely with Golf and Hospitality Operations to guarantee a seamless experience for groups and partners.
* Ensures rate integrity and correct application of contracted terms.
* Proactively channels golf demand towards the hotel and serviced apartments, ensuring maximum conversion of golf enquiries into room nights.
Key Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the golf and hospitality industry (preferred).
* Experience in sales, travel trade, resort, or luxury hospitality environments is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of golf market dynamics and customer expectations.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and key accounts.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret commercial data.
* Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven.
* Confident hosting guests and representing the resort professionally.
* Strong teamwork capability.
* Fluent English (mandatory); additional languages are an advantage.
