Job Description

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable golf experiences? We are seeking a dynamic Golf Sales Manager to join our team at Victoria Golf Resort & Spa.

This role involves driving revenue, promoting the golf course and facilities, developing strategic sales plans, building relationships with clients, and collaborating with the marketing team to create attractive packages and campaigns. Your expertise will be key to elevating the golf course’s reputation and achieving business growth. Your knowledge of our property, golf industry, and commitment to excellence will shine through every client interaction.

Summary of Responsibilities:

* Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service at all times.
* Ensure prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers.
* Achieve sales objectives monthly, quarterly, and annually.
* Handle golf inquiries and provide accurate information to clients.
* Practice effective revenue and yield management, including negotiations on rates and fees.
* Adhere to policies regarding space release for golf events.
* Coordinate with other hotel departments related to golf events.
* Manage specific golf events as assigned by the DOSM.
* Communicate client needs and changes effectively during events.
* Work with the finance department to ensure accurate billing post-events.
* Manage key accounts such as travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients.
* Develop quotes, negotiate prices, and confirm contracts.
* Promote the golf & hotel through participation in trade shows and promotional events.
* Generate new business leads via prospecting techniques.
* Maintain and nurture client relationships using CRM tools.
* Respond to business leads within 24 hours.
* Prepare reports as required and conduct market analysis.
* Develop new accounts and organize site inspections.
* Maintain detailed knowledge of hotel services and market data.
* Balance operational, administrative, and team needs effectively.

Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably in golf, hospitality, or leisure industries.
* Fluent in Portuguese and English, both verbal and written; additional languages are a plus.
* Degree in a related discipline preferred.
* Strong understanding of golf industry trends and customer preferences.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
* Ability to develop strategic sales and marketing plans.
* Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Responsible, reliable, and passionate about golf and hospitality.
* Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
