Join an exciting project as a freelance video editor focused on capturing the dynamic atmosphere of Rally de Portugal. This role involves filming and editing engaging behind-the-scenes content featuring rally driver Teemu Suninen and co-driver Janni Hussi. The assignment spans from May 8 to 10, with filming scheduled during select maintenance windows at the service park and Sunday WRC2 ceremonies. The primary objective is to create compelling, social-first video stories for platforms like Instagram and YouTube, highlighting candid moments, team interactions, and the unique energy of the event. You will be responsible for shooting in both vertical and horizontal formats to maximize content versatility and audience reach.
Deliverables
Capture high-quality video footage during Friday evening, Saturday midday and evening maintenance sessions, and Sunday post-rally ceremonies and interviews.
Produce short-form and long-form edits optimized for social media and YouTube.
Deliver both vertical and horizontal video assets suitable for various platforms.
Ensure all content aligns with the storytelling style and brand guidelines provided.
Submit a portfolio, rate, gear list, and confirm availability for the specified dates.
Requirements
Proven experience in videography and editing for social media, with a strong portfolio showcasing similar event or sports content.
Proficiency in shooting and editing both vertical and horizontal video formats.
Ability to work independently in fast-paced, live event environments.
Strong storytelling skills with an eye for capturing authentic, behind-the-scenes moments.
Access to professional video equipment suitable for on-location shooting.
Availability in Portugal from May 8 to 10, with flexibility for event schedule changes.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with production teams.
Knowledge of motorsport or live event coverage is a plus.
