In order to shape the future, we are looking for a Strategy & Corporate Finance Analyst

As a Strategy & Corporate Finance Analyst in Smart Energy Lab you will perform tasks such as:
* Lead the development of financial models (business plans, valuation models and scenario analysis) to support new products, spinoffs and strategic projects that accelerate the energy transition
* Provide input to the leadership team on strategic, financial and corporate finance topics, translating analysis into clear recommendations.
* Conduct market and competitive analysis in the energy sector to identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and potential M&A targets.
* Prepare high impact presentations and investment materials for internal decision making, potential investors, and partners.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (technical, commercial, legal, finance) to structure and negotiate financing solutions for SEL's projects.
What we are looking for:
* Track record in Transactions (M&A, Due Diligence, Valuation) and/or funding rounds in a start-up ecosystem.
* Strong focus on achieving results and creating business impact.
* Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to simplify complex problems and communicate them clearly.
* Solid understanding of corporate finance (valuation, project finance, business case development).
* Contact with planning & control tasks and streams
* Interest in energy, innovation and new business models; experience with distributed energy resources is a plus.
Specific skills required:
* +3 years of experience in transactions, strategy consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, planning & control or similar roles in high performance environments.
* Strong experience in building financial models and business plans.
* Degree in Management, Finance, Economics or similar.
* Advanced Excel and strong skills in preparing structured presentations (PowerPoint).
* Fluent English
Employees need to have Portuguese tax residency, be located in Lisbon area
