Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer who is motivated to grow, take on new challenges, and work with modern backend technologies in an agile environment.
Experience
* Around 2 years of experience working with backend technologies.
Required Technical Skills
* Experience building microservices-based architectures
* Strong knowledge of Java 11 or higher (Java 17 / 21 is a plus)
* Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data
* Familiarity with JPA / Hibernate
* Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational SQL databases
* Solid understanding of unit testing
Nice to Have
* Experience with TDD or BDD
* Knowledge of Continuous Integration practices
* Experience using Git / GitHub
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Languages
* Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)
Soft Skills
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Curiosity and motivation to learn new technologies and programming languages
* Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
* Proactive mindset and eagerness to grow professionally
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
* Or equivalent practical experience in backend development
