About the Role:
We are looking for a
Database Developer
with strong expertise in Oracle, Postgres, and SQL to join our team in Lisbon.
The ideal candidate is a senior professional with
4–6 years of experience
, who can contribute to database design, optimization, and maintenance, while also collaborating in modern development practices and agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize relational databases, with a focus on
Oracle and PostgreSQL
.
Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
Ensure database performance, availability, and security.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate databases into CI/CD pipelines.
Support Agile delivery practices, using tools such as
Jira
and
Confluence
.
Contribute to test automation and continuous improvement of database solutions.
Requirements:
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with
Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL
.
4–6 years of professional experience in database development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field (preferred).
Familiarity with
Agile methodologies
and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
Plus/Preferred:
Experience with
CI/CD
pipelines.
Knowledge of
cloud environments
.
Exposure to
test automation
practices.
Intermediate English proficiency
(written and spoken).
Availability for
hybrid work (2x per week in Lisbon)
