We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our technology department, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, automated solutions that empower our real-time ecosystem.
* You will collaborate closely with development teams to create automated systems that scale with our AWS cloud infrastructure, improve security posture, and elevate our SLA standards.
* Focusing on automation and reducing operational overhead, you'll work towards empowering developers rather than simply maintaining infrastructure.
* With a forward-looking approach, you'll research and integrate automation solutions to drive innovation in developer experience and operational efficiency.
* You will play a significant role in defining and implementing the AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes platform strategy, including architecture, design, roadmaps, and enabling various apps to adopt such technologies.
* In a collaborative culture with Dev and App owners, you'll resolve JIRA tickets in areas like Cloud, CICD, deployments, monitoring, etc., while being willing to challenge the status quo to bring new ideas and innovation to the team.
* Ongoing maintenance and support of internal tools, improving system health and reliability, are also part of your responsibilities.
* Documenting and providing cross-training to peers for projects and products worked on is essential.
* Lastly, ensuring service uptimes to maintain SLA-driven uptime is crucial.
What You Need to Succeed
* A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud environment.
* Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based solutions, preferably with AWS expertise.
* Deep understanding of containerization concepts and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
* Demonstrated ability to deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications effectively.
* Experience in CI/CD and workflow automation, along with a passion for automation and strong development skills.
* Strong understanding of Infrastructure As Code (IAC), preferably Terraform/Terragrunt, and how it's exercised in AWS.
* A focus on driving efficiency and repeatability in software delivery processes.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
* Collaborative and proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
* Significant experience with scripting using Python or another programming language in the area of DevOps.
* Knowledge of APIs and microservices concepts.
