The Project:
Join a leading global social media and e-commerce platform dedicated to keeping its online community safe.
As part of the Fraud Prevention team, you'll protect users and transactions by identifying and preventing fraudulent activity.
As a Back office, German-speaking Anti Fraud Specialist you will:
* Monitor transactions and user activity to detect potential fraud or policy violations.
* Investigate suspicious cases and document findings in detail.
* Analyze data to identify fraud patterns and propose preventive measures.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards (AML, KYC).
* Work closely with legal, compliance, and customer service teams to resolve cases efficiently.
Competitive salary and compensation system:
* 1100€ gross x 14 months (it's 1283€ gross x 12 months)
* 100€gross fixed project/role bonus
* Meal allowance: €7.23 net/day (approx. €145/month) via meal card
* Transport allowance: €20/month
* 250€ gross – EXTRA PROJECT BONUS (part of a total of €3,000 gross paid monthly during the first year of contract)
It's on average 1383€ - 1778€ gross / month

What we expect from you:
* You speak German (C2–native) and English (at least B2), with strong communication, moderation, and decision-making skills.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in an e-commerce fraud or customer service environment; background in investigations, abuse, or cybercrime is an advantage.
* Analytical and detail-oriented, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to document and substantiate findings clearly and accurately.
* Resilient and calm under pressure, able to handle sensitive or complex situations with professionalism.
* Team-oriented and responsible, with a strong sense of ethics, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
EU citizenship or a residence permit in Portugal is required
