We are looking for a Regional Engineering Coordinator for Highgate Hotels, in Algarve. This position will be located in Albufeira.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate engineering projects across the hotels;
- Ensure among engineering suppliers an efficient service and the compliance with deadlines;
- Look for new suppliers and be aware of industry evolutions;
- Daily coordination of operational engineering teams. Delegate strategically and efficiently;
- Develop and implement the standard operating procedures (SOP's);
- Analyze engineering reports and implement improvements in processes;
- Ensure the training and development of Engineering teams;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related area;
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisor role, preferably in hospitality;
- Solid technical knowledge of all engineering systems;
- Fluent in Portuguese and good level of English is mandatory;
- Proficient in IT/digital tools;
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations;
- Excellent planning and leadership skills
