We are looking for aSenior Financial Controllerto join an international team, with a strong focus on financial control and ensuring the quality of financial information.
This role sits within a control structure (second line of defense), playing a critical role in validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Execute quarterly closing controls for multiple entities across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with tight deadlines
Prepare financial reporting for control committees
Perform ad hoc analyses on financial, tax, and accounting processes
Identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
Document controls, results, and evidence in a structured manner
Contribute to the evolution and optimization of control frameworks
Collaborate with both local and international teams
Candidate Profile
Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in auditing (preferably within Big 4) or a similar role
Experience in the financial services sector (preferred)
Strong knowledge of accounting and internal control
Familiarity with IFRS standards (knowledge of IFRS 9 is a plus)
Knowledge of financial products (financing and markets) is an advantage
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Tools & Technical Skills
Solid knowledge of Excel and MS Office
Experience with data analytics tools (e.G., Power BI) is a plus
Familiarity with data quality and control frameworks (e.G., BCBS 239) is an advantage
Languages
Fluent English (minimum level C1)
French is a plus
Offer
Fixed-term outsourcing contract (open-ended duration clause)
Project expected to last8 months, with potential for renewal
Base salary aligned with experience
Meal allowance: €8.60/day
Hybrid working model: 8 days per month in the office
