About the Role
As a Media IT Support professional, you will play a crucial part in helping European broadcast clients succeed in their media supply chain endeavors. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to system integration, deployment, support, and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have experience with media IT systems and Media Asset Management software. A strong understanding of broadcast/media workflows and technologies is also beneficial. Proficiency in SQL, RESTful APIs, and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, Perl, or C# is required. Additionally, skills in Linux server administration, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services are highly valued.
Responsibilities
1. Implement and support Vidinet MAM projects (on-prem and cloud).
2. Assist clients during requirements gathering and system specification.
3. Develop and maintain test/integration environments, working closely with internal teams.
4. Integrate third-party systems via RESTful APIs.
5. Support GoLive activities and perform system testing with clients.
6. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, including issue analysis, updates, and troubleshooting.
7. Create and maintain documentation and train customer support teams.
8. Contribute to process improvements for project delivery and support.
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Self-driven, analytical, and collaborative.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Willingness to travel.
