Category Management Specialist Job Description
This job involves driving the development and implementation of sourcing strategies in assigned categories to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive category management including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract performance, and risk assessment.
* Lead the execution of sourcing strategies for identified categories at international and/or regional levels to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
* Analyze trends both within and outside the company through robust market screening and continuous market intelligence to identify innovative opportunities.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to identify and prioritize sourcing needs, supporting the development of annual strategies and plans to achieve category goals.
Requirements
* Relevant work experience in international procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management.
* Ability to work independently, lead, and report on a strategic sourcing program.
* Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
* Robust change management skills.
* Advanced level Microsoft office proficiency.
