Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to handle Tier 2/3 Support for the ESG platform, collaborate with the ITSM monitoring team, and participate in weekly release reviews.
The ideal candidate will have experience with automation tools like GitLab, Ansible, and Helm, as well as proficiency in Linux environments and scripting ability with Python.
This role involves providing technical support, automating tasks and deployments, supporting observability POCs on OpenShift, contributing to migration initiatives, and collaborating with developers, QA, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Tier 2/3 Support: Troubleshoot and deploy applications across environments (CER, QLY, PRD)
* Automate Tasks and Deployments: Use GitLab, Ansible, and Helm for deployment and automation
* Support Observability POCs: Work on Grafana Mimir, Loki, Alloy using Helm and GitLab CI
* Migrate Grafana Central to OpenShift: Contribute to migration initiatives and suggest improvements in IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
* Collaborate with ITSM Team: Use tools like OBM, SiteScope, Prometheus, and Python scripts for automation
* Coordinate with Developers and External Vendors: Resolve issues and ensure platform stability
Requirements
* Solid Experience in Application or Platform Support (Tier 2/3)
* Experience with Git (GitLab) and Ansible for deployment and automation
* Familiarity with IBM Cloud or Hybrid Cloud Environments
* Strong Hands-on Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
* Understanding of Grafana Stack (Mimir, Loki, Alloy) and Monitoring Tools
* Proficiency in Linux Environments
* Good Scripting Ability with Python
* Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab CI) and Helm
* Basic Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure Configuration
* Excellent Communication Skills in English (Written and Spoken)
