Global financial process excellence manager

Job Overview

This position is responsible for transforming finance processes and driving performance through standardization, automation, and best practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tool deployments and shape the future of financial control across a global organization.


Key Responsibilities

1. Process Design & Implementation: Oversee, document, and streamline R2R financial processes across the ACTS function.
2. Global Alignment: Ensure that finance processes are consistent across all regions while addressing local operational and regulatory needs.
3. Ensure Compliance: Monitor and ensure that all R2R processes comply with local statutory rules and international regulations.
4. Drive Automation: Lead initiatives to automate routine R2R tasks (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations, tax filings) to enhance accuracy and speed.
5. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual work, and optimize resource utilization.
6. Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure reporting accuracy, risk management, and compliance.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management on R2R performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
8. Technology Enablement: Stay updated on emerging finance technologies and propose solutions to drive automation and efficiency.
9. Foster Best Practices: Establish, promote, and monitor best practices in R2R processes across the organization.
10. Feedback-Driven Improvement: Build channels for ongoing feedback to refine processes and tools continuously.
11. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide training on new systems and tools while facilitating knowledge sharing across teams to ensure consistency.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
* Minimum 3+ years in R2R, financial closing, or finance transformation roles within a multinational environment.
* Strong knowledge of GL accounting, reconciliations, provisions, and financial reporting frameworks.
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BlackLine, OneStream, or other R2R automation tools preferred.
* Understanding of IFRS and internal control frameworks.
* Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver process improvements.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* High autonomy and initiative within the function and process network.
* Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage.
