A prestigious services company is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Financial Modeling Specialist (m/f/d) for the Greater Porto area.
Your new role
Reporting to the team coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:
Develop business plans and financial modeling: Create and structure detailed plans that project the company's future financial performance, including revenues, expenses, profits, and cash flows. Use financial models to predict different scenarios and assist in strategic decision-making.
Perform financial evaluation of development projects and companies: Analyze the economic value of development projects or companies using techniques such as discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, and comparative analysis. This is crucial for investment decisions, mergers, and acquisitions.
Conduct critical economic feasibility studies and analyses: Assess the feasibility of new projects or investments, considering factors such as initial costs, expected returns, associated risks, and economic impact. This helps determine if a project is financially sustainable and aligned with the company's goals.
Prepare and develop Economic Proposals for public tenders: Develop detailed financial proposals to participate in public tenders and bids, ensuring all financial and regulatory requirements are met. This includes presenting budgets, financial projections, and economic justifications.
Conduct sensitivity analyses on key business variables: Examine how changes in key variables (such as demand, investment, operating costs, inflation, and interest rates) can affect the company's financial performance. This helps identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
What you need to succeed
Degree in Economics, Management or Finance
Professional experience of at least 2 years in similar functions
Strong knowledge of Excel (mandatory)
Fluent in English (mandatory)
High sense of responsibility and organizational skills
