Responsibilities
* Building, configuring, and deploying web applications and services in cloud and on-premises environments;
* Integrating services (databases, storage, APIs) into web applications;
* Automating processes and optimizing workflows using CI/CD pipelines;
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and deployment;
* Monitoring and troubleshooting OpenShift environments for high availability and scalability;
* Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure management tools for maximum reliability and security;
* Staying updated on emerging DevOps trends, technologies, and tools;
* Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers;
* Participating actively in scrum engagements.
You Must Have
* An educational background as a Software Engineer or similar, with thorough knowledge of Backend development;
* 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles;
* Strong understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux;
* Hands-on experience with Linux environments and networking;
* Experience with automation tools like Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible;
* Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins);
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure;
* Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, SDN, SDS);
* Knowledge of distributed systems and web architecture principles;
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments;
* Familiarity with agile methodologies;
* Good communication and analytical skills, with strong English proficiency;
* Portuguese residency and eligibility to work in Portugal;
* Excellent teamwork abilities in Portuguese and English;
* Availability to work in Lisbon once or twice a week.
