Job Title: Planning and Procurement Technician
Location: Nilorn Portugal, Recarei-Paredes

Main Responsibilities:
* Production Planning:
o Manage customer requirements, plan, and organize orders according to production capacity.
o Define equipment occupation plans for optimal resource utilization.
o Present the weekly production plan to the Production Director.
o Analyse deviations from the plan, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
o Automate and optimize planning and production sequencing processes.
o Design, document, and implement Production Planning and Control systems.
o Monitor and report production performance indicators (KPIs).
o Identify continuous improvement opportunities within planning processes.
* Procurement and Stock Management:
o Place purchase orders for raw materials, consumables, and auxiliary goods.
o Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential products.
o Ensure raw material compliance in terms of quality, quantity, and delivery deadlines.
o Coordinate the reception and distribution of raw materials.
o Reduce stock levels without compromising production.
o Manage and carry out raw material inventories.
o Support supplier qualification and ongoing evaluation.
o Outsource services based on issued work orders and monitor supplier performance.
o Ensure correct colour selection when applicable.
Required Skills:
* Academic Background and Professional Experience:
o Degree in Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, and Management (preferred), or similar areas.
o Minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial planning and procurement roles.
* Technical Skills:
o Advanced Excel skills (mandatory), including VBA.
o Knowledge of Power BI (preferred).
o Advanced English proficiency.
o Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
o Familiarity with production planning and control systems.
