The Lean Industrial Design Manager is responsible for driving the implementation of industrial design principles throughout various stages of program development and launch phases.
This role requires strong leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, decision-making, networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
* 7+ years of experience in programs, manufacturing engineering, or production
A successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of engineering techniques associated with project management, problem-solving, conflict management, customer focus, and lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
This position involves driving operational KPIs related to work packages OTD, MPT on time, and launch costs. The manager will also coach and manage LID deployment with PMLs, ME Project Managers, and PLTLs, ensuring alignment with global best standards and industrial strategy.
Additionally, this role requires providing training, guidance, and individual coaching during process development and launch phases.
