Job Description:
Responsibilities
* Practicing company values
* Leading, coordinating, supporting, motivating, training, and evaluating the galley team
* Monitoring and ensuring culinary service is up to the highest standards
* Organizing "mise en place", appropriate storage, and keeping of goods
* Maintaining hygiene in the galley in accordance with HACCP regulations
* Supporting and assisting the culinary and restaurant team
* Managing food orders, stock, and cost control in collaboration with the Executive Chef
* Relieving the Executive Chef during their absence
* Performing any other duties as advised by the Executive Chef/Hotel Manager
Skills/Qualifications
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Minimum two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star restaurant or hotel
* Cruise ship experience is a plus
* Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
* Fluency in English
