Job Title: Textile Design Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced textile designer to create innovative and commercially successful designs for home textiles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textiles, fabric construction, and design principles. They should be able to translate concepts into production-ready designs while ensuring quality, feasibility, and cost efficiency.
* Develop original, trend-driven patterns and specify textile constructions that align with product requirements.
* Work closely with suppliers to develop fabrics that meet design intent, quality standards, and cost requirements.
* Manage multiple projects at once with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Requirements:
* Strong portfolio of textile designs and experience working with various materials and techniques.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and product development teams.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
