We are strengthening one of our teams with an Infrastructure Engineer to support large-scale Linux environments, proactive maintenance, and 3rd-level operations for a global enterprise client.
What you will do
Provide technical support across Linux infrastructures, including virtual and physical servers
Work within an international Agile OS Product Team supporting multiple regions
Engineer (build) and test solutions, document them, and hand them over to operations
Manage environments across on-premise, private, and public cloud (IaaS / IaC)
Support LDAP-based authentication services
Deliver 3rd-level support for onshore and offshore operational teams
Drive process improvement initiatives (automation, documentation, offshore transitions)
Perform proactive maintenance: upgrades, patching, hardening, vulnerability management, capacity and inventory management
Ensure service levels and audit compliance are continuously met
What we are looking for
3–5 years of hands-on experience in Linux engineering (RHEL/CentOS)
Experience managing large-scale environments (hundreds to thousands of servers)
Expertise with DevOps and configuration management tools (Puppet, Git;
or Ansible/Salt/Chef)
Knowledge of Red Hat Directory Server, DS389, OpenLDAP, or Ansible is a strong plus
Solid background in OPS environments with strong troubleshooting capabilities
Broad understanding of infrastructure domains: networking, virtualization, OS, storage, middleware
Familiarity with ITIL processes in enterprise-scale and offshore operational models
Excellent communication in English
Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon
