About the Role
We are looking for aNetwork Automation Engineerto support, maintain, and optimize large-scale automation platforms and workflows.
This role involves troubleshooting automation processes, managing service templates and device configurations, supporting integrations, and ensuring overall platform stability across complex network environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, support, and troubleshoot network automation platforms to ensure high availability.
Debug and resolve workflow issues across automation builders, adapters, gateways, and event triggers.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for failed automation jobs.
Manage service templates, data models, and device configurations using CLI and API-based methods.
Work with multi-vendor device environments and template-driven automation.
Support integrations between automation platforms and third-party tools (e.g., ticketing systems, IPAM systems).
Use REST APIs, Postman, and database queries to validate and troubleshoot integration workflows.
Conduct detailed root cause analysis for recurring issues in automation services.
Optimize workflows and apply performance tuning to complex automation processes.
Assist with managing automation code versioning through Git-based repositories.
Collaborate with development teams to promote clean, stable, and tested code across environments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with network automation platforms, including: Data modelling, Service templates, Multi-vendor device integrations.
Experience with workflow automation engines and integration gateways.
Experience withPythonorJavafor scripting and automation (optional but beneficial).
Strong understanding ofLayer 2/Layer 3 networking, including: BGP / OSPF
Experience working in multi-vendor network environments
Familiarity with: Postman, Jira, Linux-based environments, REST APIs
Preferred Qualifications
3–7 yearsin network engineering or network automation.
Background in large-scale or telecom-oriented environments preferred.
Proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting automation platforms.
