Global Culture and Belonging Curricular Internship
The trainee will support Sodexo's global Culture and Belonging strategy by helping strengthen internal employee communities and connect internal efforts with our external ecosystem of clients and partners. Based in SBS Porto, the trainee will collaborate with multi-functional, cross-regional teams to deliver global projects, and activate engagement platforms to reinforce an inclusive, connected, and high-impact employee experience.
What will you do?
A. Support the coordination and execution of diverse Global Culture and Belonging projects across regions:
With internal communities:
Coordinate initiatives that promote intersectionality across the Global Advisory Boards and support their deployment in the regions.
Contribute to the creation of a global framework to activate our local ERGs in collaboration with our subject matter experts
Manage the Culture and Belonging Viva Engage Community ensuring dynamic, relevant, and inclusive content that encourages participation, and monitor analytics to grow reach and engagement.
Manage and communicate the Culture and Belonging Calendar to promote key milestones, events, and campaigns, respond to community questions and coordinate with CB stakeholders.
With the external ecosystem:
Conduct benchmarking and research on diversity and inclusion priorities and practices across key client organizations to identify insights to support Sodexo's Culture and Belonging strategy and future client engagements.
Assess Culture and Belonging messaging in sales proposals, consolidate findings, and support teams in closing identified gaps
Analyze data from Culture and Belonging strategic partnerships and contribute to identifying opportunities to enhance impact and visibility.
Track global initiatives and document regional best practices and success stories to enhance global monitoring, reporting, and knowledge-sharing within the Culture and Belonging community.
B. Moderate and animate community meetings, and develop presentations, reports, and storytelling materials highlighting Culture and Belonging's impact
C. Facilitate event logistics (virtual and in-person) including preparing materials, managing invitations, and supporting real-time delivery.
D. Produce insight summaries and research briefs to support strategic decision-making.
E. Collaborate with multifunctional, cross-regional stakeholders (CB, HR, Communications, ERGs, and others) to align actions and share updates.
What You Need to Succeed:
Project coordination and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Social media management and content creation (experience with Viva Engage or other enterprise social platforms).
Comfort collaborating with international stakeholders at different levels.
Clear, professional, and engaging communication style.
Sensitivity to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and interest in Culture and Belonging concepts and ERG dynamics.
Curiosity, creativity, and openness to learning.
Autonomous, demonstrating the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Proactive, able to anticipate needs, suggest improvements, and take initiative.
Flexible to adapt to evolving priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
Experience working in multicultural or global environments is a plus.
