Join Vestas as a Technical Project Lead - Electrical; you'll oversee the Low Voltage Electrical package from concept to validation, ensuring seamless integration across modules and developing key design solutions with an innovative approach.
Department Overview
Vestas Technology & Operations > Research & Development (R&D) > Module Tech Leads& Integration.
This department is responsible for designing and developing low-voltage control panels and control systems across wind turbine sections, contributing to innovative and efficient wind turbine design.
Responsibilities
1.
End-to-End Ownership: Deliver the Low-Voltage Electrical package from concept to final validation.
2.
Technical Contact: Facilitate technical solutions and collaborate with management and technical leads.
3.
Planning Support: Assist in project planning and management.
4.
Design & Risk Management: Finalize design requirements, oversee interfaces, and manage changes and risks.
5.
Technical Support: Provide guidance, manage risks, and support manufacturing.
6.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships, participate in testing, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical design and project management, preferably in wind energy.
- Strong communication skills and experience managing cross-cultural teams.
- Practical knowledge of tools like DFMEA, Creo View, Windchill (ETAP).
- Experience with engineering change management and EMC design/testing.

- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Autonomous with a focus on continuous improvement.
