SAP DIS Global Key User Role Summary
Job Description
As a SAP DIS Global Key User, you will serve as a functional process lead and critical liaison between business needs, SAP, and third-party TMS functionalities. You will support end-users, define end-user documentation, provide training, monitor data accuracy, identify process improvements, test, and participate in implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for end-users regarding day-to-day business process issues and questions.
* Develop and maintain Business Process Procedures (BPP) and document process flows to support defined inventory controls.
* Provide and ensure end-users are trained and practicing defined processes.
* Accountable for ensuring data is maintained accurately by end-users. Monitor data accuracies and provide guidance to correct inaccuracies.
* Identify, document, and communicate process improvements to SCM Management.
* Responsible for testing issues, validating results, testing application changes, and participating in regression and integration testing.
* Conduct audits to ensure adherence to documented processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college; five years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* At least 5 years' experience in supply chain management/material and warehouse management roles.
* APICS or other SCM certification is a plus.
* High-level functional knowledge of SAP ERP DIS modules.
* High-level functional knowledge of integrated and interfaced SAP ERP and TMS applications.
* Ability and experience to lead and effectively drive teams.
* Ability to write documentation/standard work/processes and implement.
* Ability to teach/train others.
* Exceptional analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Project management experience; from concept to implementation.
* High level of expertise and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Data-oriented and objective-driven mindset.
* Organizational skills; self-management. With ability to search through data to find areas where we can optimize the operation.
* Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean operations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with various TMS systems, including E2open (preferred).
* Experience in business process analysis and documentation.
* Experience in SAP project environments.
* Written and Spoken English (Required); additional language German (preferred).
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
