Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our finance operations from the ground up.
About the Role:
* This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting business strategy through insightful analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and account for invoices, payments, and expenses in compliance with tax regulations.
* Reconcile current accounts (clients and suppliers).
* Upload and manage payments via home banking.
* Provide support for financial and administrative matters.
* Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
* Conduct trial balance analysis and prepare financial statements.
* Prepare and present regular cash flow reports to support business decisions.
* Assist in developing and improving internal financial reporting tools.
* Handle routine finance-related administrative and compliance tasks.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or related field.
* 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Portuguese financial operations.
* Solid understanding of invoice processing, account reconciliation, and treasury management.
Desirable Skills:
* Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English.
* Comfortable working independently and adapting in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
* Proficiency with financial software and Excel.
