And owns, and scales all paid, search-led acquisition channels, driving profitable growth across hoppa's core and emerging transport services.This role is execution-focused, highly analytical, and commercially driven, with scope to grow into a Head of Search role over time.Key Responsibilities:Paid Search ExecutionOwn and run the day-to-day management of: Google Ads, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Bing, Display channels, Paid Social and any other Paid Media channelsCampaign build, optimisation, and iterationFull accountability for paid media budgets, pacing, and ROIConduct keyword research, ad copy testing, bid optimisation, and audience targeting.Partner with relevant teams to ensure ad experiences are aligned, relevant, and conversion focused.Performance & OptimisationTranslate business priorities (routes, destinations, margins, transport modes) into paid search strategyLead paid media support for: new market launches, new transport modes (e.G. ride hailing, trains), high-margin route and destination growthMonitor performance against CPA, ROAS, and margin targetsIdentify scaling opportunities and performance risks earlyOptimise campaignsInsight & ReportingProduce clear weekly and monthly performance reporting, working with analytics teamSurface actionable insights, not just dataFeed learnings into wider acquisition, CRM, and product discussionsStay up to date with industry changes, platform updates, and competitor strategiesCollaborationWork closely with: SEO team (separate ownership) to share keyword and intent insights, CRM on remarketing and cross-sell activity, Product & UX on landing page and funnel optimisationSupport launches of new routes, markets, and transport modesManagement of 1 x Paid Search roleSkills & Experience5–10 years+ experience in paid search rolesDeep, hands-on Google Ads experience (essential)Strong in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and data visualisation tools.Experience managing significant budgets across multiple geographies.Strong analytical and commercial instinctsComfortable working in fast-moving, evolving environmentsAmbitious, curious, and detail-orientedInterest or experience in leveraging emerging AI tools for campaign optimisation—such as automated bidding, creative generation, or predictive targeting—to drive efficiency and performance at scale.
