More than a hotel, this project is being designed as a place to stay, gather, connect, and experience the local lifestyle.
It will combine thoughtfully designed accommodation, a relaxed and locally driven restaurant, wellness areas, and strong ties to surf, culture, and community.

We are now looking for an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of Hotel Praia do Sol.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership position, reporting directly to the founding partners.
The selected candidate will play a key role in preparing the hotel for opening, building the operational structure, leading the team, and ensuring a consistently high-quality guest experience from day one.
This role requires a hands-on, proactive, and highly organized leader who is comfortable working in an independent lifestyle hotel environment.
Flexibility is expected, as operational presence may occasionally be required during evenings, weekends, and key business moments.
Key Responsibilities Lead the pre-opening preparation and operational launch of the hotel Oversee daily hotel operations, including accommodation, restaurant, wellness areas, and public spaces Recruit, manage, train, and develop hotel teams Foster a professional, service-driven, and guest-focused culture Ensure high standards of hospitality, service quality, and guest satisfaction Manage budgets, costs, revenue performance, and operational efficiency Coordinate with suppliers, partners, service providers, and local stakeholders Implement and monitor operational procedures, standards, and reporting systems Ensure compliance with health, safety, employment, and regulatory requirements Uphold the hotel's values around authenticity, sustainability, simplicity, and community connection Profile We Are Looking For Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager, Hotel Manager, or in a senior hospitality operations role Previous experience in hotel openings or pre-opening phases is a strong plus Strong leadership, organisational, financial, and problem-solving skills Hands-on, proactive, autonomous, and solutions-oriented working style Ability to build and motivate teams in a dynamic hospitality environment Strong understanding of guest experience, service standards, and operational performance Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory Genuine interest in lifestyle hospitality, independent hotels, local culture, and community-driven projects What We Offer Salary range between €45,000 and €50,000 gross per year Start date planned for Summer **** Opportunity to lead the opening of a distinctive independent lifestyle hotel Direct collaboration with the founding partners Key leadership role with long-term development potential A project rooted in hospitality, local identity, surf culture, wellness, and community If you are a hands-on hospitality leader looking for the opportunity to shape a new hotel from the ground up, we would be pleased to hear from you.
