Overview:
We are looking to strengthen its finance department by hiring a
Certified Accountant
, with the possibility for the role to evolve into
Accounting Manager
, depending on the candidate's seniority and experience.
Location: Benfica, in an area close to the train station.
Working arrangement:
On-site.
Contract type:
Initial 12-month contract, renewable for a further 6 months, with the prospect of permanent integration afterwards.
What will you do?
Coordinate and monitor the accounting activity of the group's 5 companies
Lead, organize, and develop a team of 4 people
Ensure the reliability of financial and accounting information
Supervise monthly and annual closings, as well as tax obligations
Promote the standardization of processes and accounting best practices
Report directly to the Finance Director
Support decision-making through accurate and timely information
What are we looking for?
Certification as a
Certified Accountant
is mandatory
Solid experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment rather than in an accounting firm
Team management experience will be valued for the
Accounting Manager
role
Good knowledge of
SAP
and
Excel
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
English is not required
