Sourcing Manager Role
The Senior Commodity Buyer position requires a skilled professional to oversee the procurement of assigned components and materials. As part of the Purchasing team, this individual will provide input and implement strategies in alignment with plant and global procurement initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
* Exceeding Year over Year Cost Savings targets for respective commodities
* Executing sourcing process from RFQ to Contract/PO release, ensuring full alignment with functions involved
* Implementing Global Commodity Strategy, aligning all sourcing projects
* Meting sourcing metrics including project cost targets, year over year performance, business incentives transformed into sustainable savings, payment terms, incoterms
* Communicating closely with the Global Commodity Management team to deliver robust commodity management strategies
* Benchmarking commodities to ensure competitive landed costs using cost breakdowns, raw material economics evolution studies, cost modeling tools, supplier suggestions, and multifunction cost savings workshops
* Managing and leading supplier relationships to achieve cost savings targets and drive continuous improvement
* Managing QVC requirements for each Sourcing, including volume extension, up-lift, and capacity implementation
* Acting as point of escalation on supplier shortages, quality issues, and negotiating respective cost claims with suppliers
* Collaborating with Program Launch Buyer, Supplier Quality, and Engineering during sourcing process, participating in project reviews and technical reviews with suppliers to understand project status, supplier process technology, and challenges
Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years' experience within Global Supply Management is required, with cross-knowledge between multiple commodities, preferably in key global automotive companies. The ideal candidate should possess:

* Fierce negotiation and conflict management skills
* Ability to build and interpret business cases/plans, including NPV and Payback analysis
* Good technical knowledge foundation to understand different processes, technologies, and cost drivers, including cost modeling tools
* Knowledge of automotive standards for supplier qualification
* Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various functions at different levels
* Mandatory fluent English (written and spoken)
