Job Overview
* We are seeking a Certified Accountant to join our team in Portugal, responsible for managing our financial operations at our Valença location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Managing Mod 22, IES, RTP, CBCR, TAX Memo, RFIS, and ICIT;
2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations;
3. Preparing and submitting financial reports as required;
4. Collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management: Oversee the management of financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis;
* Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax returns and other financial documents;
* Reporting: Prepare and submit regular financial reports to stakeholders;
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional certification in accounting (e.g., CIMA, ACCA);
* Relevant experience in financial management and taxation;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
* Familiarity with financial software and systems.
