Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) at Testo. Testo, with headquarters in the Black Forest/Germany, is a world market leader in portable and stationary measurement technology. Worldwide, roughly 3900 employees research, develop, produce and market innovative measurement solutions. Testo invests about 10% of annual turnover in Research & Development and operates with 37 subsidiary companies and over 80 distribution partners across five continents.
In summer 2025, Testo is opening a new development site in Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal. Be the first Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) at this location and help lay the foundation for a strong team. You will collaborate with colleagues in Germany and China to work on innovative solutions and advance our products.

Your Profile
* Technical expertise: A degree in computer science, embedded systems, or a comparable field.
* Experience: 2–5 years of experience in software development, ideally with a focus on embedded systems.
* Skill set: Strong knowledge of C/C++; command of gdb, CMake, Open-OCD, Git, Zephyr and Linux.
* Language Skills: Fluency in English and Portuguese; knowledge of German is a plus.
* Mindset: Solution-oriented, confident, and a true team player.
* Open-source spirit: Ideally, experienced contributor to FOSS projects (e.g., Linux, GitHub, GitLab).
