System Support Technician Position
We are seeking a highly skilled System Support Technician to provide operational support to clients, install, manage, and maintain server infrastructure, as well as perform general maintenance and minor repairs.
About the Role:
This is a fixed-term contract with a duration of 6 months, beginning in November 2024. The salary will be defined according to the candidate's academic qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational support to clients
* Installation, management, and maintenance of server infrastructure (both physical and virtual)
* Performing general maintenance and minor repairs, setups, etc.
* Diagnosing and remotely troubleshooting software and hardware issues
* Installing and configuring software and peripherals
* Administering and maintaining computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks
* Collaborating with the IT team to solve more complex problems
* Preparing equipment for clients
* Managing backups and helpdesk platform management
Requirements:
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Platforms (Windows 11, Office 365, Teams, GPOs, AD)
* Experience in Office 365 administration
* Strong knowledge of VMware, Veeam technologies, and security and monitoring solutions
* Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware malfunctions
* Knowledge of IP, LAN, and WAN networks
* Verbal and written fluency in English (preferred)
* Excellent analytical skills
* High sense of responsibility
* Residence in Braga district (preferred)
