We are seeking a highly motivated Functional Application Support Consultant to join a mission-critical team supporting our client's Asset Liability Management & Treasury (ALMT) division. This isn't just a technical support role;
you will be the strategic bridge between Front Office (FO) traders, Middle Office (MO) specialists, and technical IT squads across the EMEA region.

Your Mission:
* The Bridge: Act as the primary functional and technical point of contact for EMEA-based traders and analysts using our core booking application.
* Incident Commander: Resolve or guide the resolution of technical and functional issues within the ALMT ecosystem. You own the incident from triage to final fix.
* System Stewardship: Ensure the total stability of the production environment while collaborating with development and business analyst teams to enhance system functionality.
* Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and suggest automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and improve team efficiency.
* Knowledge Governance: Maintain high-quality support documentation and create comprehensive user guides to empower end-users.
* Release Management: Play a key role in the deployment and release cycle, ensuring new features land safely in the production environment.
Who You Are (Requirements):
1. The Hybrid Profile: You have a solid understanding of Finance, particularly Debt and Cash-flow instruments. You understand the "Why" behind the trade.
2. Technical Foundations:
3. SQL: Strong ability to query databases for data extraction and troubleshooting.
4. UNIX: Comfortable navigating environments and managing processes via the command line.
5. Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
6. The Tools: Experience with ServiceNow (or similar enterprise ticketing systems) is highly preferred.
