With 37 subsidiary companies and over 80 distribution partners, Testo is represented on all five continents.Role Description As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Reliability & Test Engineer to join our brand-new team in Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal.ResponsibilitiesManage and execute reliability and validation testing activities during product development, ensuring that both hardware and software meet the highest standards of performance, robustness and durability.Review requirements and specification documents to define acceptance criteria, derive relevant test scenarios and create corresponding test cases.Plan and manage environmental simulation testing to assess climatic, mechanical, and corrosive influences on products.Create test specifications and perform hardware and software tests throughout the development cycle.Ensure effective reliability and quality maintenance and improvement during product changes across the lifecycle.Deliver on product reliability and quality objectives in line with schedule and compliance requirements.Introduce new and improved methods for error prevention in product development.Work closely with Development, Purchasing, and Production teams to align quality efforts.RequirementsDegree or technical training in Engineering or a comparable field.3+ years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally within product development in a manufacturing environment.Expertise in testing hardware and embedded software.Solid knowledge of reliability and testing methods and tools.Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.Very good command of written and spoken English.Passion for quality, reliability and problem‐solving.Motivation to collaborate across departments and in international environments.Assertiveness, strong analytical ability, and a results‐driven mindset.Customer and solution‐oriented mindset.What We OfferA dynamic and impactful role in a forward‐thinking organization.The opportunity to shape product quality and influence strategic decisions.An international working environment with flat hierarchies and agile practices.Competitive remuneration and comprehensive benefits package.Application Process You would like to know more about our job vacancy?
