Sales ManagerLocation: LACS, Cascais (Portugal) Employment Type: Onsite (2 remote days/week after 6-month probation) Contract Type: 12-month contract with potential for renewal Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pmAbout the Role Our client is a superfood company who are going through a period of rapid growth and expansion. They are looking to hire a Sales Manager, who will take the lead on building and executing a structured sales strategy for the business. The successful candidate will help drive revenue, manage key accounts, and expand into new markets, all while developing and leading a high-performing sales team.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement a structured sales strategy for ingredients tradingEstablish KPIs, monitor performance, and identify growth opportunitiesManage key customer accounts in the food, pharma, nutraceutical, and beverage sectorsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging trendsRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferencesSupport sourcing of new/customized ingredientsCollaborate internally to deliver tailored product solutions to clientsBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales teamProvide coaching and training to align team efforts with company objectivesAnalyse sales data to support strategy and decision-makingUse advanced Excel tools for forecasting, reporting, and performance trackingQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Trade, or related fieldMinimum 8 years of relevant sales experienceProven success as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently exceeding targetsFluent in English; other European languages (especially French) are a plusIndustry experience in supplements, superfoods, or organic ingredients is highly valuedDesired SkillsStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsAdvanced Excel and data analysis capabilitiesStrong business acumen and strategic thinkingEffective leadership and team development abilitiesCompensation & BenefitsSalary: €35,000–€40,000 (gross) – plus benefitsHealth InsuranceRelocation Package: Negotiable
